The “Defense Bros”: The powerful startup network of Europe’s new arms elite

Dealroom lists around 300 defense startups in Europe – a striking number of them in and around one city: Munich. A dense network of former soldiers, drone pioneers, and defense investors is forming here, building startups – and unicorns – with the support of TUM and the Bundeswehr University. The Bavarian capital has become the center of Europe's defense tech elite.
